The new HP ProBook 440 G3 is competing with premium ultrabooks in terms of battery life
As we already stated in our first impressions piece a few days ago, the HP ProBook 440 G3 with the latest Skylake processor might be one of the best choices in the budget business class, although most regions sell the laptop for ridiculously high price.
You can check the price and availability of the HP ProBook 440 G3 at Amazon.com.
However, if you can actually forget about the price, the 14-inch business companion excels in build quality, portability, typing experience, and obviously – in battery endurance as well. Our tests indicate around 450 minutes of Wi-Fi browsing and 429 minutes of video playback. This might be due no only to the ultra-low voltage Core i5-6200U CPU, but on the energy-efficient 14-inch HD TN panel as well. The results are easily comparable to some of the leading ultrabooks on the market right now, like the Lenovo Yoga 900S, Toshiba Satellite Radius 12, and Dell XPS 13.
Of course, all tests were performed with the following settings: Wi-Fi turned on, battery saver turned on and screen brightness set to 120 cd/m2. You can expect the full review of the laptop in the following days or weeks for more information about performance, screen quality, temperatures etc.
