Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge – HDR video recording vs normal mode

The new Galaxy S6 Edge uses the same camera module as the normal version of Galaxy S6 – Sony Exmor IMX240. In fact, this is the same sensor used in the Galaxy Note 4, but this time we’ve got some few extra features on our hands like White Balance detection, thanks to the IR blaster, and improved optics.

However, the trend in recording an HDR video is growing really fast and Samsung is able to keep up. Below you will see a comparison between normal mode and HDR mode in Full HD video recording (1080p). Also, keep in mind that the sensor is capable of recording only FHD videos with HDR turned on, 4K is not supported. Take a look at the video below, you are the judges.
