MSI announces Z270 Gaming M6 AC motherboard

MSI announces a new enthusiastic gaming motherboard based on the Z270 chipset – the Gaming M6 AC. The new motherboard has an all black design with large heatsinks and RGB Mystic Light. The Gaming M6 AC is home to four DDR4 DIMM slots that have a maximum capacity of 64GB and speeds of up to 3800MHz. As a respectful gaming motherboard, M6 AC supports multi-GPU setups (you get three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots) and overclocking.

The motherboard is also is capable of VR as it comes with a so-called VR accelerator chip that the manufacturer says can provide a more stable VR experience by ensuring a cleaner and stronger signal to a VR-optimized USB port on the back. Other goodies include Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 2×2 Wi-Fi adapter and a KillerTM E2500 Gigabit LAN controller to assure high-speed Internet connection.

In terms of storage, the M6 AC gives you the opportunity to equip yourself with all sorts of storage drives. You get six SATA3 6Gbps ports, two M.2 slots, and even a single U.2 slot.
