Although ASUS ZenFone Selfie boasts Snapdragon 615, its outer temperatures remained relatively low

Every time we run perdormance test on a device, we also measure the temperatures, which the back reaches, after continuous usage. For the purposes of this test we simulate 3D gaming for a couple of hours with the Epic Citadel app. The same procedure was done with ASUS ZenFone Selfie that boasts a Snapdragon 615 SoC. Previous temperature tests on models with this mobile chip have had some dangerously high results. On the contrary, the Taiwanese manufacturer’s device managed to handle this issue relatively well as the hottest point of the phone’s back was around the camera. The temperature, which we measured there, was 41.8 degrees Celcius. At the middle part, the device heated up to 37.0 degrees, while the lower area maintained a temperature around 35.7 degrees.

You will be able to find out more about the phone in our in-depth review on ASUS ZenFone Selfie, which will be published shortly.
