Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-575G) (FHD, TN) display profiles – Quality and Health impact results
As a low-end model, the Aspire E 15 (E5-575G) features budget TN panel with some considerable drawbacks that can be fixed by installing one or more our profiles but as for the rest of the properties, they appear to be normal for the price range of the laptop. In the pack below, you will find the usual Health-Guard, Office work / Web design and Gaming / Movie Nights profiles, each of which will improve the overall image quality in certain aspects. You can read more about them here and how to use them. We also suggest reading our dedicated article regarding blue light emissions and PWM and how our custom profiles help eliminate both to certain extend.
The Acer Aspire E5-575G has a TN panel with just 50% sRGB coverage, low contrast ratio, extremely inaccurate color reproduction out of the box but almost optimal color temperature. Our profiles will not only help reduce the average dE2000 (improve color accuracy) but it will also limit the PWM to some extent.
Since our profiles are tailored for each individual display model, this article and its respective profile package is meant for Acer Aspire E5-575G with 15.6″ panel manufactured by Innolux with model number N156HGE-EAB (FHD, 1920 x 1080) TN and the machine can be found at Amazon.com: Acer Aspire E5-575G.

Office Work / Web Design
This profile aims to deliver the most accurate colors possible in the sRGB gamut – the colors used on the Web. That makes it suitable for Office work and, in some cases, for Web Design. However, this display doesn’t have the needed properties for color-sensitive work so we suggest looking for a laptop with an IPS panel that has a wider sRGB coverage and more accurate colors out of the box. Quite expectedly, the notebook has really high color deviation of dE2000 equal to 11 but our profile brings it below 4 – 3.5 to be exact – which is more than acceptable.
We’ve also adjusted the gamma curve and white balance.
Gaming and Movie Nights
You can take advantage of the Gaming and Movie Nights profile, which will improve the overall visibility – especially in darker areas of the image – during gaming and watching movies (you can see an example here). This profile will come in handy if you are planning to watch a few movies.
As for the Health-Guard profile, it reduces the blue light impact and eliminates PWM to some extent. You can see in the graphs below how the PWM looks like on this screen as well as the blue light levels before and after calibration.
