[17 April 2019] The new laptops on the market today – from Intel Celeron N3060 to Core i9-9900K

We’re scanning the laptop market every day, we find all new offerings, we check their specs and we add them to our Spec System. They’re sorted by price and clicking the button “More info” will lead you to their in-depth model pages.

If you want to learn more about the performance of their CPU or GPU, just click on their model names and you’ll go straight to their dedicated pages with tests, benchmarks, gameplay videos and more.

Today, the cheapest notebook on our list is priced below $200. As you guess, it’s a Chromebook. The exact model is Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532 and it’s equipped with Intel Celeron N3060, Intel HD Graphics 400 (Braswell), 16GB SSD and 2GB RAM. That’s enough for surfing the Web if you don’t open many tabs.

But if you do, and you’d like to be able to open and run the latest games along with them, scroll to the bottom of the list where you’ll find Alienware Area-51m ($3649) and ASUS ROG Chimera G703 ($3799).

Both of them are equipped with GeForce RTX 2080 but the former sports the more powerful Intel Core i9-9900K compared to the “high-end mainstream” i7-8750H in ROG Chimera. However, Area-51m is trailing behind the G703 in terms of storage and RAM – it has 1TB HDD and 8GB RAM while ASUS has beefed up this configuration with 2TB SSD + 1TB HDD and 32GB RAM.
