ASUS ProArt StudioBook 16 OLED: Full Specs

Design

The laptop has been designed from the ground up to give a professional the most streamlined and intuitive experience possible. With a metallic unibody, the laptop is sturdy and rigid, with a weight of 2.40 kg and a profile of 21.4mm. Furthermore, ASUS has put the laptop through the rigorous MIL-STD-810H, which includes temperature tests, vibration and shock tests, as well as drop tests. The minimal design includes chamfered edges and rounded corners, along with a ProArt logo on the lid.

Display

The display selection consists of two 16-inch panels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. You get either a QHD+ IPS panel, which comes with 500 nits of brightness, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and Pantone validation for color accuracy. The second display ups the resolution to UHD+, while lowering the brightness to 400 nits and keeping the same 100% DCI-P3 coverage.

Specifications and features

Lastly, we have to talk about the specs. ASUS has chosen AMD for their laptop, which is a wise choice as AMD chips are very power efficient and don’t get too hot, which is great news for a tightly packed laptop such as this one. You get to pick between the Ryzen 5 5600H, Ryzen 7 5800H, and the Ryzen 9 5900HX, all of which bring good performance to the table. For the graphics, you get the RTX Ampere units, along with the RTX A2000 GPU.

Features-wise, you get a rotary wheel, which can be of great help inside the adobe suite, along with other apps. The addition of a Stylus pen and a large touchpad means that you can use the pad itself to draw on, which can be quite helpful if you don’t have a lot of space to work on and cant fit a graphics tablet into your setup. A Harman/Kardon sound system is also a part of the mix, along with a very generously packed I/O.
