    2. The display

The device comes with 3 choices for displays. They are all 15.6-inch IPS screens. Two are Full HD, with one having a 144Hz refresh rate. The third one is a 4K UHD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. With our Gaming and Web design profile, the screen reaches 92% of the sRGB color gamut and has a good color representation.

Below you can compare the scores of MSI Creator 15 A10Sx with the default settings (left), and with the “Gaming and Web design” profile (right). You can buy our display profiles HERE.

    3. The security features

The device features an IR face recognition system and a fingerprint reader that is in the touchpad, which makes the device very secure as it can only be accessed by you and you only. With security becoming more and more important these days, it is nice that MSI has included this feature in their Creator series of laptops since they are some of the people who need their work secured the most.

2 reasons NOT to buy the MSI Creator 15 A10Sx

    1. The cooling

When you make a device this compact, thin, and powerful, there are sacrifices that have to be made and MSI decided to make them in the cooling aspect of the laptop. While using the High Performance preset we noticed higher temps and increased noise from the fans. You should be better off using the Balanced preset.

    2. The speakers

Another place, where MSI has made cuts is in the audio department of the device, with its speakers being nothing to write home about. Its low tones have some deviations, while the mids and the highs are clear. But since this is a laptop for creators you’d probably be using headphones so it’s not that big of a deal.
