Dell’s Vostro line has brought to the market devices that combine a good choice of specs, and a sleek and lightweight design, which is ideal for a business setting. The new generation of Vostro laptops is the same, with the difference that the new machines offer Tiger Lake CPUs with Intel’s new Iris Xe Graphics.

Dell has been in the laptop business for so long that they already know what their consumers like and what they don’t, so with every passing generation, they have slowly been evolving their devices to make them one step closer to perfect.

The 14-inch laptop segment has been getting more popular with every passing year. Especially for a business setting, the smaller device is better to carry around between meetings and from your home to your office. The display on the Vostro 14 is a Full HD one, with an IPS matrix. It supports Wi-Fi 6, which brings increased speeds should your internet be able to handle it. You have a choice between 3 Tiger Lake CPUs, which is an upgrade from last gen’s model, which had 3 Ice Lake CPUs to choose from.

The laptop keeps the HD Webcam, which has a unique shutter feature that hides the camera when it’s not being used, eliminating all fears that you are being spied on or monitored, Stereo speakers, the backlit keyboard, and the fingerprint reader making the device secure and allowing you to work at night or in less than ideal lighting situations.

And now for the bigger of the two devices, we have the Dell Vostro 15 5502. While a 15.6-inch laptop is bigger and less portable than a 14-inch machine, it more than compensates for that with a bigger screen real estate allowing you to have more apps open, do more work, and be more productive. The display on the Vostro 15 is also Full HD and an IPS and is the same as the previous year’s model. The laptop has support for Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 6.

The laptop retains the same features from the previous years model such as the Stereo speakers, the HD Webcam, which is so so important right now due to the pandemic, and when more and more people work from home, the backlit keyboard, and the fingerprint reader.
