Performance and connectivity
Each model of this series features an Intel CPU and an integrated GPU – there are no options for a discrete graphics card. The most powerful processor that may come in IdeaPad 110 is Pentium N3710. This is a 4-core chip with a base frequency of 1.6 GHz. Thanks to the Turbo Boost technology it can go up to 2.56 GHz. The GPU integrated in the die is Intel HD Graphics 405. Its maximum operating frequency is 700 MHz. In other words, you can enjoy some gaming from time to time.
IdeaPad 110 has a Wi-Fi module that supports the 802.11 ac standard. This means that if your router has a 5 GHz frequency range, the speed can go up to three times more in comparison to the 802.11 b/g/n standards. Furthermore, the engineers from Lenovo have included an optical DVD drive, USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, 3.5 mm audio jack, HDMI, RJ-45, and a 4-in-1 card reader.
Lenovo have improved the hinges on this notebook – they are now not only stronger and more durable, but can also tilt back up to 180 degrees, which is a great surprise in such a budget laptop. IdeaPad 110 also has a 15-inch TN display. According to the manufacturer, the palm rest has a peculiar texture which is anti-slippery, and fingerprints are hard to find on the interior surface. Additionally, there is a 1 TB HDD which is enough for you to store your favorite photos and movies. Naturally, you can find SSD configurations if you are after higher transfer rates.
