[FPS Benchmarks] Shadow Of The Tomb Raider on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W) – the 130W GPU wins the match

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is a game that doesn’t need an introduction because it’s a fairly popular title. It’s the successor of the Rise Of The Tomb Raider and just like the older game, the new one can offer decent graphics, a good story, some side missions, and a lot of achievements. These things can keep you busy for a lot of time.

VIsually-wise, the game still looks really good. On the other hand, it’s not the lightest game out there, especially on the Highest preset. That’s why for today’s comparison we have in front of us two super-powerful GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W). Let’s see what these two are able to offer.

Verdict

Interestingly enough, both GPUs are pretty close up to High details. We are talking about some negligible differences from 1% to 3%. When it comes to the Highest preset, it seems that the 85W GPU is out of breath (in this case – TGP) and the 130W GPU has the upper hand thanks to its higher frequencies and power limit.

Still, the 85W variant is a good GPU that can be found in cheaper devices (in most cases) and it doesn’t dissipate too much heat.
