[FPS Benchmarks] Shadow Of The Tomb Raider on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W) – the 95W GPU is 19% faster on Highest quality

Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is the latest installment of the Tomb Raider series and it’s the successor of Rise Of The Tomb Raider. The game brings good graphics and challenging gameplay to the table.

This title looks great especially on Highest picture quality but it’s a tough cookie when it comes to system requirements. When the visual quality is maxed-out it’ll need a lot of system resources, ergo – fast CPU and GPU are definitely a good idea. Even the most powerful version of the GeForce RTX 3080 can’t reach 144 FPS so if you have a high refresh monitor you have to lower the visual quality (of course, only if you aren’t okay seeing FPS below the 144 FPS mark).

For this article, we’ll examine the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W).

Verdict

Alright, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) is the winner. On Low, both GPUs are close but on the other visual presets, the bigger GPU is clearly faster. On Ultra, it brings 19% more FPS compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (65W). The latter performs well for such an efficient GPU and it almost reaches the 60 FPS mark on Ultra.
