[FPS Benchmarks] Rocket League on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3080 (130W) – both are fast
Rocket League is probably one of the best free-to-play games at the moment. The title has a lot to offer – a unique gameplay experience (well, it’s something like soccer with cars), the soundtrack is fresh, and the game isn’t heavy at all so people with not-so-powerful devices can play Rocket League as well (perhaps with lowered visual quality).
Speaking of how light this game is, a modern low-end graphics card like the NVIDIA GeForce MX550 (35W) is fast enough to show more than 150 FPS on average on High Quality settings. Still, if you have s super-fast high refresh rate display probably you’ll want to see much higher FPS values. For today’s article, we’ll compare two powerful graphics cards that can deliver tons of FPS when it comes to Rocket League – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3080 (130W).

Verdict
Expectedly, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) is faster compared to the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W). On High Performance settings, the 165W GPU has s 35% lead while on High Quality, the advantage is reduced to 12%. This brings us to the fact that the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is a fast video card that is cheaper than its 165W sibling and it can deliver almost 470 FPS on maxed-out visuals – and that is a great result too.
