日本[FPS Benchmarks] Rocket League on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W) – both are close
Rocket League was released in 2015 but since 2020 it’s a free-to-play game so you can download it via Epic Game launcher. The game is well-known for its fun and addictive gameplay – it’s something like soccer with cars. In addition, the soundtrack is good and the game is light.
Speaking of how light this game is, the title is based on Unreal Engine 3 and it’s light enough to run even on not-so-powerful. For example, an iGPU like the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 (96EU) is okay even for High Quality mode if you don’t mind playing with 43 FPS. Verdict
If we have to be honest, the end result was a bit unexpected for us. On High Performance, the video cards offer almost equal FPS numbers, and on High Quality, the bigger GPU is just 7% which isn’t a mind-blowing difference. When it comes to Rocket League, it seems that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) is the smart buy.
