[FPS Benchmarks] Rocket League on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (100W) and RTX 3060 (100W) – both are very close

Football with cars and with one huge ball to hit – in short, this is Rocket League. The game is very popular and now it’s even free to play. It’s based on Unreal Engine 3 and the title isn’t demanding at all, especially if you are not greedy for super-high FPS values.

Even not-so-powerful dGPUs like the NVIDIA Geforce MX250 (10W) will do the job no matter the visual quality. People with high refresh rate displays need something more than 60 FPS so let’s see how fast are the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (100W) and RTX 3060 (100W) when it comes to Rocket League and high FPS.

Verdict

It’s a bit of a surprise but both GPUs are very close no matter the visual quality. On High Performance, the results are almost identical and on High Quality, the bigger GPU is just 5% faster – you aren’t going to spot the difference between 389 FPS and 409 FPS.
