[FPS Benchmarks] PUBG on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3070 130W) – both are ready for 144 Hz displays on Ultra Quality

In recent years, the battle royal games are gaining popularity. Undoubtedly, PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) is one of the most popular titles from this genre. PUBG attracts new and existing players with its fun and simple gameplay – a big map, many players on it, and the last man standing wins.

Maybe it looks like a piece of cake but it isn’t. For surviving the round you have to be patient and you must scavenge for ammo and new weapons.

Technically wise, PUBG isn’t too heavy but if you need a 144 FPS or even more, well, you’re going to need something more serious than a mid-range GPU. Without further ado, let’s see how fast are the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) when it comes to PUBG.

Verdict

Expectedly, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) wins. It’s 14% faster on average compared to its smaller sibling – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W). On the other hand, the latter is a great GPU and it offers a better value for its money – it almost reaches 190 FPS on Ultra quality which will be enough for most gamers.
