[FPS Benchmarks] Overwatch on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) and RTX 3060 (140W) – a close call

Overwatch is a popular Blizzard game and it’s one of the good first-person shooter games that has been released in the last few years. The title has all the ingredients for a successful game – the gameplay is fun and challenging, the soundtrack is adequate, and the game looks good.

Speaking of visuals, Overwatch is offering decent graphics quality even on Low settings and this game isn’t heavy when it comes to system requirements. Even a low-end GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce MX450 (GDDR6, 25W) can deliver almost 90 FPS on average on High settings. Verdict

Well, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) is just 5% faster on average compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (140W). It seems that in games like Overwatch the bigger TGP and higher frequencies are very important. Still, both video cards are fast and can deliver more than 200 FPS on Epic quality which should be probably enough for the majority of gamers.
