[FPS Benchmarks] Need For Speed Heat on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) – the RTX 3080 is 13% faster
The Need For Speed franchise has its ups and downs but Need For Speed Heat is one of the good games that belong to the series. Overall, the gameplay is full of action, fast cars, police pursuits, and you have some in-game challenges that can keep you busy for a long time.
Graphically wise, the game uses the Frostbite engine (just like Battlefield V), and the title looks really good especially on Ultra. Not the lightest title out there but the good news is that even on Low the visuals are just fine.
Well, 60 FPS on Ultra is a challenge for most video cards so let’s see how fast are the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) when it comes to Need For Speed Heat.

Verdict
On average, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is 13% faster. Sure, this GPU almost reaches 90 FPS on Ultra quality, but on the other hand, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) is close to the 80 FPS mark (again, on Ultra preset) which will be enough (probably) for most gamers.
So, if money isn’t a problem, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is okay, but the GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) is the smart buy in this comparison.
