[FPS Benchmarks] Metro Exodus on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W) – RTX 3080 is 45% faster on Extreme quality
Metro Exodus is the successor of Metro Last Light and just like the previous game, the new one brings some great graphics to the table alongside thrilling gameplay full of monsters and hostile humans that are populating the abandoned metro tunnels.
Speaking of graphics, the game is heavy, especially if you always like to crank up the visuals to their max possible values. The Extreme preset is no joke and most of the high-end GPUs are having a hard time reaching the 60 FPS mark on this quality preset. For today’s comparison, we have prepared two good GPUs – the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W).

Verdict
The difference between these two GPUs isn’t that big on Low settings, but on Medium and especially on Extreme quality, the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is showing its raw power delivering 45% higher FPS compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (130W). However, the smaller GPU can offer great performance for a mid-ranger and the sweet spot for it is the High preset – in this scenario, it delivers 77 FPS and that’s fine for a single-player game like Metro Exodus.
