Metro Exodus is a great-looking title and it’s the successor of Metro Last Light. The new game offers great graphics but at the same time, Metro Exodus is one of the heaviest games on the market. The Extreme preset is no joke – even a GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) can’t reach the 60 FPS mark.

On the other hand, the High preset isn’t as heavy as the Extreme quality, and a lot of mid-range GPUs can show at least 30 FPS. For this comparison, we have prepared two good NVIDIA Ampere GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) and RTX 3050 (55W).

Verdict

So, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) is 23% faster on average compared to the RTX 3050 (55W). However, both GPUs aren’t powerful enough for at least 30 FPS on Extreme. The sweet spot for both video cards in terms of visual quality and FPS in the High preset. The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti (75W) can offer high FPS while the GeForce RTX 3050 (55W) isn’t that fast but its performance is acceptable and this graphics card is cheaper.
