[FPS Benchmarks] GTA V on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W) – the 95W video card is 15% faster on average
GTA V is a game developed by Rockstar Games that was released for consoles in 2013 and in 2015 we saw the PC debut of the title. Years later the game still looks good and it has a huge player base thanks to the fact that there are regular patches with new content (mainly for the multiplayer mode).
Still, the game isn’t the lightest out there especially if you want to play on Ultra quality with a lot of FPS. Interestingly, even the mighty GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) is not even close to the 144 FPS mark on Ultra so people with high refresh rate display will probably drop the visual quality to High or maybe Medium.
For this comparison, we have prepared two good mid-range graphics solutions – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) and RTX 3060 (65W).

Verdict
It’s not a surprise that the 95W GPU is the winner in this comparison. It has a bigger TGP and its core boosts way higher compared to the 65W sibling. On average, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (95W) is 15% faster compared to the RTX 3060 (65W). On Ultra, 95W graphics card is 22% faster which is a good result. The GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) is able to show 54 FPS on Ultra which is okay for a GPU with a 65W TGP.

Hi, thank you for your review. I have a Asus Rog Strix G513QM with a RTX 3060 115W that can go to 130W with Dynamix Boost and a Ryzen 9 5900HX with 32GB of ram. How can I run GTA V on this hardware?
