[FPS Benchmarks] Ghost Recon Breakpoint on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (150W) and RTX 3070 Ti (150W) – a very close result

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the successor of the still popular Ghost Recon Wildlands. Just like the latter, the new game offers one huge world that can be roamed freely. The player is sent to an island that is called Aurora. You are Anthony “Nomad” Perryman and your mission is to investigate the numerous disturbances that have already happed on the island. Of course, you can expect a lot of action full of gunfights with enemies, you can use some hi-tech gadgets during the fight, and you can drive vehicles as well.

Visually, the game looks good, and it’s a step forward compared to Wildlands. The title isn’t heavy – a GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 [Laptop, 55W] is just okay for 57 FPS on Very High details. For this comparison, we have prepared two very fast GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (150W) and RTX 3070 Ti (150W).

Verdict

Well, we can call this a tie result. Actually, the GeForce GeForce RTX 3070 Ti [150W] is just a little bit ahead compared to its bigger sibling but the difference is just 1 FPS or 2 FPS from Medium to Very High details. Both GPUs have equal TGPs and the CUDA count of the GeForce RTX 3080 [150W] is just 4% bigger compared to the other GPU so that’s why in some games these two are super close.
