[FPS Benchmarks] Gears 5 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) and RTX 3060 (140W) – a 10% lead for the bigger GPU
Gears 5 continues the story of Gears Of War 4 and the new game isn’t that different compared to its predecessor. You can expect tense battles with unending Locust and Swarm hordes, and of course, you can use some of the fancy Gears weapons that are already become something like a trademark for the series.
Gears 5 is a well-optimized game. Alright, it’s not as light as Minecraft but you can play it with a not-so-expensive GPU like the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti [95W] on Ultra details with around 75 FPS which is a good example of how good the optimization is. Verdict
So, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (95W) is 10% faster on average compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (140W) and this is mainly due to the difference between these two GPUs on Low settings where the bigger GPU is 22% faster. After that, the gap between the two rivals is greatly decreased which makes the GeForce RTX 3060 (140W) the smart choice in this comparison.
