[FPS Benchmarks] FIFA 21 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W) – the advantage of RTX 3080 is mind-blowing

FIFA 21 is a game that is part of the popular franchise. Games like this one don’t need a lot of introduction thanks to their popularity around the world. Like every new year, the latest title comes with up-to-date info about the football team and their players, as well as some new gaming modes, and updated graphics (at least in most cases).

Interestingly enough, FIFA 21 uses Frostbite 3 engine which powers some impressively-looking games like Battlefield V. Of course, the engine here is revamped and FIFA 21 isn’t a heavy game which is great – a lot more people can enjoy this title without buying a new device. But if you want to pick a machine with a high refresh rate display and you want to see high FPS numbers during gameplay, the high-end GPUs are the way to go. So, we’re going to examine the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W).

Verdict

Well, we’re a bit lost for words because the GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) just smashed the RTX 3070 (140W) – the bigger GPU is 60% faster on Ultra quality. Nope, the GeForce RTX 3070 (140W) isn’t slow at all and it’s the smart buy because it costs less, but the bigger GPU is a brutal performer that can be a dream come true for the wealthy buyers.
