Far Cry New Dawn is the successor of Far Cry 5. The newer game uses the same engine as Far Cry 5 and when it comes to the storyline, New Dawn follows the events seventeen years after the end of Far Cry 5. As always, the title has an interesting campaign, you can do some side missions like capturing outposts, you can upgrade your home, and your weapons as well.
Visually, Far Cry New Dawn is something like a more colorful version of Far Cry 5. The Dunia 2 engine starts to show its age but the game still looks at least decent. And it’s not too heavy when it comes to system requirements. So, let’s check the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3080 (85W).

Verdict
Okay, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is always faster no matter the visual quality but we are talking about something below 10% (8%-9%) which isn’t the biggest difference out there. Yes, the 130W GPU is faster but not by much. This means that the 85W variant performs very well despite its hefty reduced TGP.
