[FPS Benchmarks] Dota 2 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3080 (130W) – the 165W is 24% faster on average
Dota 2 is one the most successful Valve games ever and despite its age, it is still one of the most played games according to Steam’s own STEAM & GAME STATS chart. One of the main reasons for this is the good optimization of the title when it comes to system requirements. Sure, Valve’s Source engine isn’t heavy at all but Dota isn’t heavy as some other Source-based titles like Apex Legends for example.
Even if you have a (modern) low-end device, it should be okay for playing Dota 2 on Low details, at least in most cases. For example, the AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 [R4000/5000, 15W] is powerful enough to show around 140 FPS on Low settings. For today’s article, we’ll compare two really fast mobile GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3080 (130W).
