[FPS Benchmarks] Dota 2 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W) – the RTX 3080 is 44% faster on average
Dota 2 is one of Valve’s most popular games ever. This is a free-to-play game so you can just download it via Steam and you’re good to go. One of the things that makes Dota 2 so popular is its gameplay and the fact that the title is light when it comes to system requirements.
Low-end GPUs like the GeForce MX250 (or even some least powerful offerings like the MX230 or MX150 are okay too) are just fine to play Dota 2 at least on Low or Medium settings. For this article, we have prepared something much more powerful than the abovementioned GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W).

Verdict
That was a bit shocking but the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) is 44% faster on average when compared to the RTX 3070 (140W). This is a huge performance gap but at the same time the performance of the smaller GPU isn’t bad at all and it’s still enough for 144 Hz displays.
