[FPS Benchmarks] Cyberpunk 2077 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W) – the bigger GPU is 31% faster on average

Cyberpunk 2077 is a true gaming hit and it was a long-awaited title. When the game was released, the initial version was plagued by a lot of game-breaking bugs. Luckily, now everything is (almost) okay and the game is playable.

Aside from that, Cyberpunk 2077 has good graphics, a decent soundtrack, and its gameplay offers a lot of hours of playtime full of interesting story missions. Speaking of graphics, the game looks beautiful, and it’s not that heavy if ray tracing is turned off.

If you want to use this feature alongside Ultra details, some DLSS mode isn’t a bad idea because, without it, the FPS will be decreased a lot. For this comparison, we have prepared two fast GPUs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W).

Verdict

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is 31% faster compared to the GeForce RTX 3060 (130W). It seems normal given the fact that the bigger GPU has more CUDAs, more ROPs, and 8GB of video memory. Still, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) is showing some decent results – it’s fast enough for 71 FPS on Ultra which is a very good score for a mid-range GPU.
