[FPS Benchmarks] Cyberpunk 2077 on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) – RTX 3070 is 15% faster on Ultra details

When it comes to game blockbusters, Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely one of them. The title is one of the biggest hits of 2020 no matter the fact that its debut was a bit controversial. The game comes with a long single-player story, a decent amount of in-game achievements, and numerous side quests (gigs).

Visually, the title looks nice, especially if you bump the picture quality. On the other hand, Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t a light game and in addition, it comes with visual goodies like ray-tracing that makes the game even heavier for not-so-powerful machines (DLSS helps for sure in this situation).

So let’s examine the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W) with the aid of Cyberpunk 2077.

Verdict

Expectedly, the GeForce RTX 3070 (130W) is the winner – it can deliver 12% more FPS on average or 15% on Ultra details. Not bad at all but it’s not a mind-blowing difference which means that the GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) performs exceptionally well for such a GPU. Even on Ultra, it can show more than 70 FPS which is a decent result for a mid-range product.
