[FPS Benchmarks] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W) – the difference is small

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a successful reboot that comes with updated and modern-looking graphics, an interesting single-player story, and decent multiplayer with tons of different game modes.

Some months after the initial release, the free-to-play battle royale mode was released to the public – Call of Duty: Warzone. This is probably one of the main reasons for the popularity of the main game.

Speaking of which, the new engine is optimized decently but if you want to play with all visual settings bumped to its max state, a decent GPU is one of the main requirements. So, let’s check the performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W).

Verdict

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) has won the match but its lead isn’t mind-blowing compared to the RTX 3070’s levels of performance. Sure, the bigger GPU is always faster but on average, the 165W sibling is 7% faster and given the price of this thing, the GeForce RTX 3070 (140W) looks like a better buy.
