[FPS Benchmarks] Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W) – RTX 3080 is 43% faster

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the newest installment of the popular series. The game debuted in 2020 and it’s a real gaming hit – it brings good graphics, a decent soundtrack, and a gameplay full of viking battles and stealth elements.

Speaking of graphics, the game looks good, especially if your machine is fast enough for High or Ultra settings. On the other hand, the title isn’t too light and you’re going to need a powerful device if you want more than 60 FPS on Ultra quality. For this comparison, we have prepared two fast Ampere GPUs with equal TGPs – the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3060 (130W).

For today’s article, we have prepared the fastest mobile GPUs that NVIDIA can offer in 2021  – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) and RTX 3070 (130W).

Verdict

Well, it seems that the GeForce RTX 3080 (130W) is 43% faster on average compared to the RTX 3060 (130W). The bigger GPU has more CUDA cores, a wider memory bus, more ROPs, etc – and that’s why it’s so fast. Still, the GeForce RTX 3060 (130W) is cheaper and it almost touches the 60 FPS mark on Ultra quality.
