[FPS Benchmarks] Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) and RTX 3050 (55W) – RTX 3060 is 40% faster on average
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is still a popular game and it’s one of the biggest gaming blockbusters of 2020 alongside Cyberpunk 2077. The core gameplay isn’t that different compared to the two previous games (Odyssey and Origins) – the campaign is long, the story is intriguing, and the gameplay has a lot of RPG elements. You git the choice of how to handle every battle – you can go the stealth way, hiding in the shadows (or in the grass) or you can do the things like a real Viking – a face-to-face battle.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla looks very good but it’s not a very light game when it comes to system requirements. On the other hand, the game looks decent even on Medium quality so you don’t need a super-powerful GPU. For this article, we’re going to compare two not-so-expensive NVIDIA RTX GPUs with modest TGPs – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 (65W) and RTX 3050 (55W).

Verdict
It’s not a surprise that the GeForce RTX 3060 [65W] is faster but despite its decreased TGP (for an RTX 3060), the bigger GPU is way faster compared to the smaller sibling. On average, the GeForce RTX 3060 [65W] is 40% faster compared to the GeForce RTX 3050 [55W]. Even on High and Ultra, the bigger video card is over 50% faster. Still, if you want something on a budget, the GeForce RTX 3050 [55W] is able to deliver 57 FPS on Medium quality and that is okay for a single-player title.
