[FPS Benchmarks] Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on AMD Radeon RX 6800M and RX 6600M – RX 6800M is 30% faster on Ultra quality

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is one of the biggest gaming hits of 2020. The title is the successor of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Origins and just like the previous two games, the new one uses the same engine. The picture quality is okay for today’s standards and yes, the game features some breathtaking views like beautiful castles, big forests, snowy mountains, etc.

In terms of system requirements, the new title isn’t very light especially if you want to see the game in its full glory – ergo, Ultra details. So, for this comparison, we have picked two fast AMD GPUs – the AMD Radeon RX 6800M and RX 6600M. Let’s see how fast these two are when it comes to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The end result isn’t unexpected at all – the AMD Radeon RX 6800M is 27% faster on average compared to the RX 6600M. The bigger GPU has a lot more firepower under the hood (higher frequencies, higher shaders count, bigger memory size, and bigger TGP) and that’s why it outperforms easily its smaller sibling.

However, the AMD Radeon RX 6600M isn’t a bad GPU – it delivers more than 60 FPS on Ultra quality and it’s cheaper compared to its bigger rival.
