[FPS Benchmarks] Apex Legends on NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W) – the RTX 3080 wins but the RTX 3070 isn’t too far behind
Apex Legends is a well-known battle royale game. It has competitive and fun gameplay alongside decent graphics quality despite the fact that it’s based on the not-so-new Source engine. Aside from that, the game looks better than many other Source-based games like CS:GO or Left 4 Dead 2.
Apex Legends offers one huge map that you can explore freely (just like any other game that belongs to the same genre) and because of this, the title isn’t light, especially if you want high FPS. For today’s article, we have prepared two fast graphics cards – the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) and RTX 3070 (140W).

Verdict
Both GPUs perform great, especially the 165W sibling. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (165W) is 21% faster on Max details compared to GeForce RTX 3070 (140W) but at the same time not a lot of people can afford a laptop that it’s equipped whit such a monstrous GPU. However, the GeForce RTX 3070 [140W] isn’t slow at all and it delivers more than 202 FPS on average on Max details and probably that should be enough for most people.
