This presents a big shift, as in previous years, it was AMD who was holding the throne, but it turns out the grip could have been tighter. Today we’re seeing if AMD can do anything about it, with their Ryzen 9 5900HX taking on the Core i9-12900H.

Conclusion

While Intel is the top dog right now, the throne isn’t a comfortable place to sit. Heavy is the head that wears the crown, as AMD is preparing their Zen 4 CPUs, both desktop and mobile, to answer and fight back. For us, these are happy times, as both companies constantly try to one-up each other, leading to better products and a better market. As for which CPU to pick, the Core i9 is an obvious choice for productivity enthusiasts and professionals.
